Price range: 18.00 € through 20.00 €

DISCLAIMER!
Our DI capture sets come in the following variations:
– Essential DI – For very simple one channel amps with just a tone control there will be only an Essential DI set.
– Core DI – clean, edge, crunch, dimed, drive and lead gain levels with EQ settings close to the amps sweet spot – includes BRI, BAL, WRM settings. Includes close mic’d IR’s. This is where to start, if you are not sure, if you want all the tones from a particular amp.
– Expansion DI – clean, edge, crunch, dimed, drive and lead gain levels with EQ the more unusual settings (which often are spectacular sounding with particular playing styles, genres, guitars or pickups) – includes THN, FAT, SCP settings. Include’s IR’s with baked in room sound that are intended to be used with an external IR loader that allows long files – up to 2 seconds and that are meant to be mixed together with the close mic’d IR’s from the Core DI set. The Expansion DI set is meant to be purchased as an addition to the Core DI set, not as a standalone.

The Flex is FMAN’s take on the ultimate 50W lead spec plexi MRSH that he has held as a reference for many years. It is a faithful recreation of a golden unit that would be unattainable to mere mortals like us.

This is one of the most covered, reviewed and loved recent amp releases. There are not many frills about it, but the few additions to the stock circuit add a lot to it’s versatility.

The master volume allows also for some tone shaping, not just lowering the output. If you want some sounds that have more pressure and that are tighter than the originals, that comes in very handy. The settings that use this trick can be found under the Drive gain level in this set. They will sound tighter, clearer and have lots of pressure compared to the NMV (non master volume) sounds.

The amp is capable of fabulous clean and edge of breakup tones, but many will go ahead right to the crunch, dimed and drive settings on the amp, as these are what makes it a legend of electric guitar history.

Classic rock and EVH style tones are easily attainable with it. Thanks to the switchable bright cap, it takes pedals effortlessly and it allows for some beautiful searing lead tones, when giving it some love from a booster or overdrive pedal.

If you want the definition of classic MRSH tone, this is it.

The set includes 24 DI captures ranging from clean to lead and featuring various EQ settings, 2 CAB IR’s. Please refer to the full list of Tone Models under the product pictures.

Wow!

This is an amazingly good capture, easily the best Plexi sound I've come across for Tonex. I was able to get those great 70s/80s tones that sound just like those legendary recordings. Nice job! :)

Absolute Spitze!

Great for classic rock and other crunchy tones!

I really like Friedman's take on an updated vintage Marshall Plexi, and it's well-represented in this Amalgam capture. I actually have the Essential version, but the DI version would offer even more flexibility to reshape your tone. If you're only interested in picking up a few capture packs, this one can cover a lot of ground. It can do clean and bluesy, but much like a Vintage Marshall, can be boosted into rock territory with higher input gain or external pedals.

No good. Skip this one.

This didn't sound good, as the majority of the hi gain captures from Amalgam. It sounds muffled, without body, a lot of fuzz. Tried my best to at least make one of the captures usable, no luck. For anything clean/low gain, amalgam is the way to go but for Hi gain... It's not there yet.

Deserted Island captures

This one here was unexpected for me. It could be my one and only capture. I've been playing this one live for a few months now. It cures GAS. Fantastic capture!

Great sounding captures

All sound great, great tones from clean up to hi gain and everything in between. The only problem I have is choosing which ones to use as they all sound awesome. It’s worth paying for captures that are done professionally, I would definitely recommend .

Yowza!

With so many Plexi captures out there it is hard to stick out...but this capture does. Love the natural compression and sustain. Feels SO good under my fingers. Just begs you to keep playing. Really perked up my QC in the gain department.

Definitely one of the best captures anyone can get.

Feels great, very dynamic and all around wonderful capture.

Superb

Holy cow. I just loaded these up DI and am using a power amp and cab and this is exactly what I have been looking for. These sounds are some of the best you have captured. Seriously I got lost playing these for hours. All pickup configurations on all my guitars sound superb.

Sweet Plexi tone for days

This is probably the best Plexi-style capture I have tried. The clean capture is especially nice with my high output Duncan's, and has a very slight and pleasing breakup. Paired it with a 1960A 412 with g12-T75's, I'm going to be playing through this the rest of the day.
