Marvelous!
Great sound and great support. QC has a confusing download process for beginners, but their support is great! I was also surprised at how good the included IRs sounded!
The SLDN SL-100 amplifier has been played by almost every big name in the guitar history who was alive in the 80’s – from Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler to Gary Moore and To many hard rock acts like Ratt and Motley Crue. The SLO-100 sound is to many synonymous with the 80’s rock sound.
But it is far more than that. It is one of the very few amplifiers that can do everything really well without any compromises. From Clean to Crunch, to overdrive and flat out chug tones – it can do it all and do it as good as the best of them in any of those categories. It even takes pedals perfectly on the clean channel. It has a british inspired tone, but i not as mid forward as Marshalls of the era. A truly versatile and musical mp.
The set includes 22 amp+cab Tone Models. Please refer to the table with all included captures and settings in the product picture section.

Highly recommended!
Best Soldano profile I could get
I used the Emil Rohbe Slo30 profiles, which are very good, but unfortunately only high gain. But these profiles have everything I can imagine. Clean, edge, crunch and high gain sound in different tone stack settings. As I use a mahogany guitar with humbuckers, I prefer the bright profiles.
Very well balanced
Extreme well balanced captures. Works with different types of guitars and od pedals in the clean channels. Try extraodrinary eq settings Bass and middle on 10, its worth a try for 80s Hardrock Sound a la Mick Mars.

Great Sound!!
The best of amalgam. I have 5 amalgam audio amplifiers and this one is the most leveled and is suitable for both heavy sounds and also for Hard Rock tones, which is what I play. I am very satisfied.
Great
Sounds realy realy good, absolutely ready for live playing or recording
Amazing captures that represent well what a SLO sounds/feels like!
Captures are very detailed and very dynamics! For having own multiple SLOs in my lifetime (both pre and post B.A.D.) the captures are very true to the source amp and sound/feels much better the other SLO captures I have tried, including my own! Definitely, also beats the Quad Cortex SLO default model. The included IR is a nice addition and sounds/feels great. The documentation is top notch, as is the nomenclature of the captures. Everything is easy to navigate and understand.

Excellent in every way!
High quality captures :)
These captures are great, and easy to use. I really like that I can pull one up, make minor tweaks to suit, and then play/record with a high quality sound. Thanks :)

Amalgam has really high quality captures, I love them!
My third best amp from Amalgam
Hi, I have 90% of the capturs from Amalgam Audio. I also have everything pack from Tone J for Kemper and Quad, some from Michael B. and some from Bert M. I prefer capturs with a guitar cabinet as close as possible to the natural, non-invasive sound straight from the microphones. The latest esential capturs from Amalgam are simply brilliant. Matchless Phonenix and Mesa Mark IV are my favorites. I like simple sounds with a bit of reverb and compressor. You can feel that it is a guitar combo with one 112 speaker or a guitar cabinet with 412 speakers. You get a round guitar treble with the natural expected bass, and what distinguishes each amplifier is the midrange, which is preserved fantastically depending on the amplifier. Captures are made in a very modern way, similar to York audio (guitar speakers). The bass and treble are not cut out immediately for the studio mix, but are left naturally like a real boost. If you want the best possible reproduction of your amplifier and your own live or studio processing, Amalgam captors are just for you. I already have my favorite amplifiers, but I still buy everything Amalgam puts out. I recommend Amalgam whenever and wherever I can. Worth the price.
Fantastic
The sound of the 80s and 90s! With the inimitable grain of an overboosted Marshall. Crunch sounds are exceptional After browsing the many sounds on Tone Net, I keep coming back to Amalgam Audio. So I've decided to give priority to buying from them.
Loving these captures
Really love the capture and tone. A lot of punchiness while maintaining a lot of clarity. Some of the captures have a lot of gain, but the various options will always offer a good tone to your liking.
Amalgam Audio's Best High Gain Captures
I've purchased all of AAs high gain amp captures and I think this is my favourite. I'm in high gain heaven. The SLO 100 is known for being a modern sounding modded Marshall and AA has captured this distinctive characteristic better than any other SLO 100 capture out there. Big chords sound articulate. Chugs are tight. Lead tone are simply inspiring. The crunch tones got lots attitude. The SLO 100 does not disappoint. It is indeed the amp of guitar heros.
