These amp captures are the best I’ve tried. They all sound great, but the clean and edge captures are the perfect platform for my pedalboard.

This is one really special amp. It is deceivingly simply with just the 3 controls, but it can be dialed in for a lot of great tones from clean to properly overdriven and it takes pedals really well.
It’s character is truly unique and very musical, but to give some approximate similarities – imagine a mix between a Plexi, Tweed and AC30. It can get really sparkly, even chimey, but also for full, round and warm tones easily.
The set includes 20 AMP+CAB Tone Models ranging from clean to lead gain levels and featuring various EQ settings per gain level. Please refer to the full list of Tone Models in the product pictures.

Amazing!
I play through my NJ Traditional US HSS and this capture brings it to its full potential. Funk clean quack, vintage chimey clean, edge of break up, country twang, clean base for R&B or ambient, classic crunch, to full blown lead! Its easy for me dial any of the captures for whatever I'm going for.
GOAT status
This amp is used in stereo with warm and bright settings on either side as a stereo pair. Simply put, these captures are fantastic and if you are only buying one pack (which also seems dumb) this is the one to buy.
Fantastic cleans and edge of breakup
I have never owned a benson amp (have a few of their pedals) but I am familiar with sound especially from YouTube pedal demos. This capture series accurately captures those tones. Very versatile set. Could use for rock, indie and more.

Capture was just really dark for me. Couldn't get it cleaned up very well.

This was amp was such a pleasant surprise for me. It's not brand I hear mentioned often, I didn't know much about it, and I've never actually played one, but it's absolutely fantastic! For whatever reason, this amp always just seems to work and fit a mix really well. It's got a really wonderful tone and pairs really well with my Casino. Amalgam releases the best captures available, hands down. This is no exception. Highly recommended!

The Benson Chimera is a very difficult amp to find, and I have purchased captures from three other pro studios and the Amalgam captures are by far the best!

Clear and organic sounds from this amp. Bass response is big and loose and it loves TS and SD type pedals to tighten it up if you need.
Great American/Fender style Capture
Great job capturing this amp. It has become my favorite American/Fender style amp capture. It is superbly balanced and takes pedals very well. Of the 20 Amalgam amp captures I've purchased this is my second favorite amp.
