MTCH LACAN

The LACAN is MTCH’s take on an iconic classic – the FNDR Blackface Deluxe Reverb. It retains many of the originals qualities – it has a clean midrange which the LACAN brings more forward than on the original.

 

It has lots of upper midrange detail and can get very sparkly, if needed. But it is also easy to tame it down and tailor it more along the lines of the BFDLX by dialing down the mid control in conjunction with an increase of the treble control.

 

It is tuned in a way that one can easily access the tones inspired by the original and then go beyond that towards a character that indeed has of the classic Matchless top-end and prominent midrange.

 

As opposed to the original it won’t flub out on the low-end and can take serious levels of gain and clean boost with grace. It also takes pedals phenomenally well.

 

The release of this capture set is also the premiere for our newly acquired original Silver Non-Horsie Klon and original 1980 TS808, which both sound spectacular with this amp.
