After our recent experience with the SSS, we assumed this is the end all be all clean tone machine, but the CRS delivers some fierce competition.
The CRS is a little bit more compressed, a bit more rounded, slightly softer and warmer with more low mids. This results in an extremely musical clean tone that transitions beautifully and effortlessly into some of the best edge of breakup and crunch tones we’ve heard.
It can be also dialed in for more sparkle and high end detail without getting strident compared to the SSS. The tone is still very dynamic and detailed, but slightly more rounded at the right places to make it well suited for driven tones too. Along with the phenomenal clean it delivers some of the best blues tones we’ve had the pleasure to experience.
The Gain Stage switch adds 3 distinctive voicings to choose from ranging from traditional Dumblesque and Blackface tones to TRCK’s own signature sound.
Most famously used by Matt Schofield and Mick Taylor from TPS.
An extremely versatile amp that in addition delivers some of the best tones from our favorite overdrive pedals that we’ve ever gotten out of any amp.

Really nice!
Really loved it!
These tones are warm and full of tonality out of the box. They are responsive to my playing, just a pleasure to listen to (the tones, not my playing). The clean or edged with some chorus make a wonderful sound. There is a video with some examples, there you can see, what you get. I just can underline what is said there, great tones which are so much pleasure to plasy with!

These are the best captures I have come across. You can tell there is some time and effort put into them. No real messing with EQ just load them into the quad and play. 10/10.

I'm going to post the same review for the TRCK series because they are all KILLER. Just amazing captures of 3 excellent amps. So many usable tones for recording, Brilliant!
Extremely good and enjoyable cleans
Played it again and again today, with home-made P90 pickups. With the WGS speaker IR provided, the clean bright provides a mix between an extremely good electric tone and some kind of acoustic reminiscences, I don't know why but I appreciate it very much. It's definitely my new clean tone, with a very interactive attack response, going from small feather-like notes to full tone. You can express subtleties, and it pairs very well with room reverbs. I coud play it all day ! And night !
Absolutely stellar tone!
Purchased the 10for5 deal, and couldn't be happier. I've been chasing tones on my QC from many different sellers, and Amalgam by far beats them all. I'll definitely be purchasing new packs as they arrive.
