This is a capture set of a Handwired Reissue Mini B-breaker amp – the 18W EL84 powered MRSH that has one of the fiercest cult followings i have ever seen for any amp. There is even an extremely dedicated forum to this specific model.
It is a very well voiced amp – it has a bite reminescent of the larger Marshall models, has just enough low-end for proper punch, but never sounds bloated in thge bass as some of the bigger plexi and bassman based models sometimes can without pedals or mods.
It sits extremely well in the mix and does everything really well – from clean to mean and anything in between, all in a beautiful british voice.
Channel I has more low-end andsounds more balanced, while Channel II can get into more cutting and bright tones with less bass content.
The amp was tracked through the built in G12M20 Speaker of the 1X12 combo and a 1968 MRSH 4X12 with G12M25Hz Pulsonic coned speakers, 2X Royer R121, 1X Beyerdynamic M160 and 1X Neumann U87 mics.

I used the clean balanced with my ocd pedal and got the perfect gilmour strat tone I’ve always wanted. Takes pedals well . Very happy with the hiwatt capture also the fane 4X12. IR is spot on . I still have my 1976 hiwatt cab with purple backed speakers so I can attest to this . Well done guys

Excellent captures
I've been gigging with a 1974x for years and happy to say I can leave the amp at home and use these excellent captures with the tonex. Have tried other 1974x captures and nothing comes close to Amlgams captures.
